Darrell Dahl

Darrell graduated University of Wisconsin – Platteville with a degree in Agribusiness in 1990, attended Missouri Auction School in 1993 and Established  Dahl Real Estate in 1995. Darrell has been a Illinois Licensed Auctioneer, Illinois Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Illinois Managing Real Estate Broker since 1995. In the past 28 years Darrell has personally handled transactions involving thousands of acres at public auction and traditional brokerage of Illinois farmland as well as recreational land for families, corporations, and partnerships. Our company has also completed many Farm Machinery, Business liquidations and Estate auctions for clients throughout the Northern Illinois area.  Darrell grew up on a family farm and is currently active in agriculture with family farm operation involving cash grain and livestock production. 

Debra Dahl

Debra is a graduate of Sauk Valley College is the driving force for the auction set up and organization.  Her knowledge of how best to display the personal property is very apparent when our customers see what is offered on our sales.   Debra is also clerking while the live auctions are going on as well as helping with registrations prior to the sale and cashiering after the sale.  She has been involved with the auction scene since 1994 when Darrell and Debra started in the auction business.  

Collin Rabe

Collin is a graduate of Blackhawk College and is an Illinois State Licensed Auctioneer.  Collin has deep background in Agriculture growing up heavily involved with cash grain and livestock production.  Collin provides auctioneering services for many local charitable organizations and is a key auctioneer during public auctions with Dahl Real Estate.   Collin loves to talk and loves the live auction scene.   

Madalyn (Dahl) Rabe

Madalyn is a graduate of Blackhawk College and is very involved with the transport, set up and organization of the personal property auctions.  She has Debra’s qualities when it comes to great displays.   She also is involved with clerking during the live auctions, grew up in the auction business and has a background in the banking industry.   

Deena Brants

Deena is a graduate of Illinois State University and in charge of the cashiering of the auctions with Dahl Real estate.  Deena prides herself in ending up “on the nose” as she settles out the sales.    Deena has a great talent for researching values and handing the operations of registration as well as check out.   

Benjamin Dahl

Ben is a Senior at Bureau Valley High School and has been involved in the auction business since the time he could walk.  Starting out as ticket runner then moving up to be a rack man he gets to be in the middle of the action.   Ben plans to go on to college this year after graduation but Darrell says he will need to be back to work the racks! 

Emma Brants

Emma is in Kewanee High School and is Deena’s right-hand woman when it comes to the live auctions.  Running messages, helping with set up as well as with the requests of all the others working the auction Emma keeps busy and does a great job.
